With 2012 coming to an end, I decided to print out all my blog entries from the year and bind them up. Looking back on everything I was reminded how blessed I am and how impacted I was by this year. The ups, the downs and everything in between. 2012 was difficult, but I learned a lot.
Last year I did a one month fast of eating things from the ground. It was difficult, but I proved to myself I have the self control I thought I never had. I was lost in a soul ripping break up and rekindle. Now trying to learn how to be in a healthy relationship. With that, patience is huge and taking thoughts captive, letting go the the past, talking about all the hard stuff. (I could go on for hours on this one) I think my most favorite accomplishment of the year was listening to God and letting him help me discover gifts I didn't know I had. Mostly talking about writing.
Naturally, looking through the past I can't help but wonder what next year will bring.
Next year I have big plans. If I had two words for the idea I have for next year it would be; love and victory. Plans to fight fears, give more and settle more comfortably into who I am in God. It will be challenging but so worth it.
I'm tired on sitting and thinking about how great this or that would be if someone did this or that. I want to be that person. I'm going to stand up and speak out. I'm will to strive to be the person I want to meet.
