A love letter

Has anyone ever sent you a note or text you reread over and over again? You were just so tickled that, that one special person would say something so sweet? I definitely have! I love the warm and fuzzes I get from reading whatever the cute boy said to me that day.

This past week I had dinner with a friend, he was telling me a story about someone that didn't understand why it was so important to read the Bible. He said to this person, "If the girl that loved you wrote you a three page note would you read it?" "Of course I would read it." He replied. "Then why don't you read your Bible?" My friend asked him.

As he was telling me this story my heart sunk to me toes. He was so right! God wrote scripture to capture our hearts and to show His love for us. Why wouldn't we want to reread it over and over again? I was so thankful to hear this story because I myself had been missing the romance of God. That night I asked God to romance me and sure enough my study had Song of Songs as the main focus of that day. My favorite verse I read that night was 4:7, "All beautiful you are, my darling; there is no flaw in you." Needless to say I've reread it about ten times. My heart is full of joy and I feel oh so loved!
